Easter

Easter is our favorite holiday here in the Vincent house! We wait with anticipation for this holiday weekend every year. Hands down, this year had to be the best yet. My Daddy flew in Thursday night and we were able to hang out all day on Friday. And when Daddy is in town you know what happens...boot shopping and Rudy's BBQ!

We had our families over on Saturday morning for our annual Easter brunch and egg hunt. Despite the yucky weather it was super fun! That day ended with this amazing moment in which the boys laid their heads on their Daddy and they all thanked Jesus for what he did on the cross and that we get to celebrate that every year.



Sunday was my favorite day though. I LOVE to watch my husband play the drums, LOVE IT! He is truly amazing and he leads me in worship through his drumming. After church we came home to the Easter bunny trail and we watched The Wizard of Oz together in the afternoon. That evening we read the story of how Jesus died on the cross and rose on the 3rd day! We ate Blue Bell Ice Cream as our 40 day fast from ice cream ended! Praise the Lord!
My favorite part of the weekend was when Jack sat down and went through his Resurrection Eggs with us telling us what each one meant. His heart is so amazing.

"Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
